Wingwah Chinese Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Wingwah Chinese Restaurant is like discovering a quiet gem tucked in an everyday strip mall, where the familiar hum of a neighborhood street blends seamlessly with the scent of slow-simmered broths and sizzling woks. The space has a humble charm, unpretentious and straightforward, inviting you to pause and lean into a moment of simple comfort. It’s a spot where the pace slows as you sink into the warmth of good food, leaving behind the clamor outside.
The atmosphere feels easygoing—more of a local rendezvous than a destination restaurant. There’s a sense of routine wrapped in genuine care, reflected both in the smiles behind the counter and how quickly plates arrive, perfect for those who crave satisfying flavors without fuss or delay. While the decor doesn’t shout for attention, it quietly welcomes a steady stream of visitors who know this is a space where familiar favorites come with thoughtful twists.
Wingwah’s menu leans into classic Chinese dishes, yet with touches that surprise and linger—like a bowl of wonton soup that comforts rather than overwhelms, or the unexpected joy of mushroom fried rice served generously without extra charge. Whether it’s a platter of honey wings that strikes a gentle balance between sweet and spice, or silky thin noodles tossed with fresh vegetables and tender proteins, each dish feels crafted with a respectful nod to tradition alongside an openness to local palate. The flavors invite you in slowly, encouraging conversation and connection over food that nourishes beyond the plate.
This is a place where the everyday meets the special—a neighborhood stop where meals become moments, shared quietly or with laughter, echoing the warmth of a kitchen made to comfort and sustain. It’s exactly the kind of spot you want to find when craving an honest meal that feels both familiar and welcoming.

This place doesn't look like much, however I must say I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Also the price makes it even a better deal. I got Shrimp with Broccoli in garlic sauce with shrimp fried rice. I couldn't stop eating it was so good, so definitely try this dish if you like a little sweet and spice.

Great place for a quick bite. Food is good and comes out quick. Atmosphere is an older building beside a Family Dollar and an American Deli.

I ordered my food from Door Dash, and this was my first-time getting food from this restaurant, so I was a bit nervous. I have to say I was incredibly pleased. My portion was huge for a small fried rice I had enough for two meals. I loved the options as I have never been able to order mushroom fried rice and I always must pay extra at other places for mushrooms! This is a plus for me. The egg rolls were delicious, and my food arrived quickly and was hot. I love Chinese food and have eaten at many places, and I have to say they are now one of my top picks. They have many options to choose from and for a quick take-out they are great. I hope that they continue to keep up the excellent quality of food and quick service. Thanks for two great meals at a great price with one entree. Kudos!!!

I came by around 6pm on a Thursday night for dinner. The place had a bit of a line, so my order took around 20 or 25 minutes to be complete. Pictured is the General Tso's Chicken, and a side order of fried noodles on the left. The food is good, and the employee that took my order was friendly and polite. My only complaint, which is minor, is that I was expecting white rice according to their menu (also pictured) but got fried rice. It is good, so no harm no foul, just unexpected. I would consider this an extremely reasonable price for what I got.
